Maia Glikman Launches Expansive Feature Film Slate Spanning Comedy, Action, Horror, and Sci-Fi

Producer and creative executive Maia Glikman continues to solidify her presence across film and television with an expansive slate of feature projects under Never Ever Productions, alongside notable development executive credits on high-profile television series.

Currently in post-production is Adulting, a coming-of-age romantic comedy produced by Glikman with Ryan Lewis and financed by BuzzFeed. The film stars Leighton Meester, Sherry Cola, Tyler Posey, and Vivien Lyra Blair. The story follows Arielle “Elle” Bren, a cynical thirty-something whose life derails after a panic attack only to wake up and find her relentlessly optimistic twelve-year-old self has physically manifested. Forced to coexist, the two versions of Elle attempt to repair her fractured life, blending humor, heart, and self discovery.

Glikman’s feature development slate includes Fuggler, a four-quadrant live action comedy based on the cult toy IP, with plot details currently under wraps. The project reflects her focus on commercially driven, broad-audience entertainment.

High-concept action and thriller titles form a major pillar of the lineup. We’re Here for the Baby, written by Eric Rogers, centers on an adoptive couple whose lives are upended when their newborn is kidnapped unaware the parents are former assassins willing to scorch the earth to reclaim their child. Rogers also penned Transylvania Red, a horror thriller in which unsuspecting tourists win a free trip to a Transylvanian vineyard that secretly bottles human blood for a global vampire trade.

Comedy remains a consistent throughline in Glikman’s work. Dad Fail, written by Matthew Kellard and Dan Steele, follows a laid back stay at home father forced into a chaotic road trip with his own father in search of his runaway teenage daughter. She is also producing The Bestest Man alongside A Higher Standard, a comedy exploring rivalry and friendship when a charming slacker must share best-man duties with his wealthy, alpha-male coworker.

Blending genres is STOP.GAME, an action sci-fi romantic comedy about a time-traveling agent tasked with preventing the end of the world by stopping a couple from falling in love until he falls for the woman himself, fracturing the space time continuum. The action thriller Freefall raises the stakes aboard a supersonic passenger jet, where a recovering addict must defuse a bomb while federal agents uncover a much larger impending attack. Horror titles include Sleep/Over, a Rashomon-style slasher told through shifting perspectives, and Lost Cause, an anti romantic comedy directed by Jackson Adams about an engaged couple stranded in Alaska after a plane crash. The slate is rounded out by She’s Up To No Good, adapted from Sara Goodman Confino’s bestselling novel, exploring family, secrets, and generational change.

In addition to her producing work, Glikman has held key development executive roles in television. She served as Creative Executive at The Cleaning Lady under Amore & Vita Productions, contributing to the development of the internationally inspired crime drama. She also holds a development executive credit on The Last Dance, the critically acclaimed sports documentary chronicling Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls.

Together, Glikman’s film and television credits underscore a career defined by bold concepts, elevated genre storytelling, and a strong commercial sensibility, positioning her as a multifaceted creative force across both scripted features and premium television.
