Customs Raid at Prithviraj and Dulquer Salmaan’s Residences Under “Operation Numkoor”

Customs officials are carrying out raids at the residences of leading actors Prithviraj Sukumaran and Dulquer Salmaan as part of “Operation Numkoor”, a probe into luxury cars allegedly imported illegally.

According to preliminary findings, the cars were reportedly brought into India from Bhutan and later sold to buyers, including the actors, without paying the required customs duties. This resulted in significant tax evasion.

Investigators are focusing on the network of dealers who sourced these vehicles and whether the buyers were aware of the irregularities in the import process. The crackdown under Operation Numkoor is part of a wider effort by authorities to curb illegal high-end car imports into the country.

No official statements have yet been released by the Customs Department or the actors’ representatives.
