Anita Soto: From Film Producer to Fitness Entrepreneur
In a remarkable career transition, Anita Soto, formerly known as Anita Cooper, has shifted gears from the glitz of Hollywood to the world of fitness entrepreneurship. Renowned for her contributions as a producer, actress, and crew member in the film industry, Soto has now turned her passion towards promoting health and wellness.
Notably, Soto was handpicked by the Australian government to produce the acclaimed short film Waiting For The Turning Of the Earth, featuring esteemed actors Anne-Louise Lambert and Barry Otto. Penned by David Giles, known for his work on Paradise Road, the film garnered recognition with an AACTA Award nomination.
Soto’s directorial prowess was showcased in a music video for Sydney FC, starring Australian rock icon Jimmy Barnes. Beyond the camera, she served as a photo double and additional crew member on notable productions such as Mozart in the Jungle and Wall Street.
In her sole acting role in the comedy Complete Guide to Guys, Soto portrayed the role of a Health Club Manager. However, she decided to step away from acting following this experience.
