A Truck hits Kochi Metro Pillar no: 310 today morning; Metro Pillar 347 under revamp

Today Morning , a KL-08 , Thrissur registered Truck accident occured in Kalamassery and it has directly hit the Kochi Metro pillar number 310. The Truck is seen almost fully damaged from front.

Recently Kochi Metro Pillar No: 347 was in news as their was a tilt in the track above the pillar. Previously there were accidents in this area where big vehicles and cars directly hit some metro pillars. Investigations need to be done if any of the previous accidents can be related to the issue in  Pillar No: 347.  Today’s Truck collision into Pillar number 310 also need to be reviewed to check if it has caused any issue to the structure. Metro Authorities and Government must think about some ways to avoid these type of collisions directly into metro pillars in future else it can create big trouble.
