The YouTuber who was reported by BBC for spreading fake news says it was a trap
Ashkar Techy, the YouTuber from Kerala is the first YouTuber from Kerala to be reported by BBC. But the news report was about a false news campaign in which Ashkar also took part.
According to the inteview given by Ashkar to 24 News channel, he says that “It was a trap and once he realised about the trap, he actually removed the video. I don’t have any intention to spread any fake news through my channel which I developed with years of hardwork. I was not knowing that it was a fake news campaign, so I immediately removed it once I came to know about it”.
