The Care Concert: There’s No Place That’s Home” Raises Approximately $30,000 to End Homelessness in Southern California
On June 11th in Downtown Los Angeles, musicians, philanthropists, and celebrities joined together at the Palace Theatre to raise funds and awareness to the homelessness crisis in Southern California. We Can California’s The Care Concert: There’s No Place That’s Home raised approximately $30,000 and the much-needed awareness for this cause.
This lovely event was hosted by the Masters of Ceremonies, Kelly Osbourne, Madeline Zima, and Karina Smirnoff. The evening included a successful silent auction, that included a guitar signed by Prince, a VIP cocktail reception, and many meaningful musical duets and performances. The Care Concert was an impactful evening, where success and generosity came together to truly benefit the homelessness crisis that is so prevalent in Southern California. 100% of proceeds from the evening is being given directly to those who need it most, through the work of Hope of the Valley Rescue Mission and The Teen Project.
